Play at Home Physical Therapy strives to make life easier for your family by providing quality pediatric physical and occupational therapy for your children in the comfort of your own home. Stephanie Lint, PT, DPT is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy, as well as Owner and Lead Physical Therapist at Play at Home, which provides home-based physical and occupational therapy services to children ages from birth to 5 years in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Stephanie has had the privilege of working across many settings in pediatric physical therapy, including early intervention, outpatient, NICU, inpatient pediatrics, aquatics, and school. She has worked at some of the area’s most respected institutions, including CHOP, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and Christiana Care Health System. Stephanie has the personal experience of having a child born with torticollis and has a deep understanding and appreciation for physical therapy from the perspective of a parent. She understands how overwhelming it can be to have an infant who needs specialized physical therapy and appreciates the convenience of having these services provided in the comfort of your own home. Stephanie knows the importance of consistent, timely, quality care and how it impacts the progress a child can make in physical therapy, and therefore your child’s physical therapy will begin immediately, and your child will see the same therapist at each visit.

Our therapists at Play at Home have a broad range of experience and are skilled in treating many conditions common in children, including torticollis (“wry neck”), plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), developmental delay, hypotonia (low muscle tone), cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, genetic disorders, neurologic disorders, feeding disorders, neuromuscular disorders, premature birth, fine motor delay, visual motor delay, and toe walking.

Some children struggle to progress in the potty learning process due to underlying issues such as low muscle tone, low interoception, sensory processing or pelvic floor issues. Fortunately, the occupational therapists at Play at Home can evaluate and work with your child in-home to address these challenges. We are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential through play-based therapeutic activities and supporting their families at every step of the way.

Testimonials

"Stephanie has been an incredible physical therapist and friend throughout our entire journey with PT. All of Stephanie’s PT activities were play based, so my son didn’t even know he was ‘working.’ She understands what it's like to be a working parent, so all of our at home exercises were easy to implement into our already busy lives. What sets her apart from other PTs, is that her approach is personal and she is available to answer questions in between appointments. We didn’t have to go through a receptionist or portal or wait until our next appointment to ask questions and receive feedback. It helped with my son’s progress and we will be forever grateful!"

"Stephanie has been working with my one year old son for several months and we have been so thrilled with her and with his progress. When we started with her, he was 9 months old and barely rolling and not crawling at all. Within weeks, he was rolling, crawling, standing on his own, and even starting to walk on his own! She has been extremely accommodating and patient teaching us how to help him do his exercises. She makes adjustments every week based on his progress and thinks he likes/doesn’t like to keep him from getting frustrated. She has also been great working with my rotating work schedule. I would highly recommend working with her for your child’s PT needs!"
