Loving Touch Pediatric Physical Therapy was created in order to be able to serve families with individualized, specialized, patient and family centered care. Doing so in the patient's home, allows me to thread therapy into your daily routine and within your environment. This increases carry over and leads to RESULTS. My goal is to educate parents on the cause of the issue and the techniques that are used to address it, because in that understanding comes empowerment and independence. I offer specialized physical therapy services aimed to meet your child where they are and to help them advance onto their next gross motor milestones and goals.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College in 2005 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Long Island University in 2008. I have loved what I do every day since! I am dedicated to continuing education and post professional development so that I can bring my patients the best possible care and outcomes.
I bring to your family over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings, including NYU/Rusk Rehabilitation, early intervention, outpatient and schools. I am certified in TOTS (Tethered Oral Tissues), Cuevas Medek Technique-Level 2, trained in Total Motion Release Tots and Teens, Infant and Children Massage, Breathing and Postural Control, as well as kinesiology taping.
