Igniting Your Mind offers in-person and online personalized support to plan, organize, prioritize, initiate, and follow through on tasks, problem solve, bolster confidence, and ultimately gain independence and success in life!

Executive Function Coaching for students in middle and high school:

We offer personalized support to plan, organize, prioritize, initiate, and follow through on goals, problem solve, bolster confidence, and ultimately gain independence and success in life. We teach students how their brains work, how to develop strong internal language and self-talk skills which is the foundation for executive functioning. This is done in combination with check ins for accountability with the student as well as parent support.

Executive Function Coaching for young adults:

If you have a child with an ADHD diagnosis or learning difference and has recently graduated from high school or is a college student, you know that their resilience and creativity has helped them excel to this point. It's still possible that they’ve missed out on opportunities which is disappointing. They know what they need to do, but struggle to act which has decreased motivation and possibly lowered their self-esteem. Coaching assists in concentrating on what is needed right now in order to advance and begin living the life they want. We collaborate to help our clients see opportunities that honor what's meaningful to them and to make thoughtful decisions. We assess their skills and weaknesses in the context of their daily life, focusing on what they CAN achieve rather than what they feel they cannot.

ADHD Parent Coaching:

Parent Coaching is a combination of education and training. We help you stay focused on what matters so you feel more centered, confident and clear with your parenting. As you create a safe, open space for your child to talk about their school or social life, you empower your child to take responsibility for themselves while helping you to teach them emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility and stronger working memory skills.

Our support helps you prioritize:

- building a relationship with your children based on co-regulation, trust and respect

- scaffolded independence in children and teens

- choose specific problem solving approaches for your child

- discover how to better manage ADHD in children

Testimonials

"Nicole, since the day I met her has always helped me not only understand how my mind works, but to use strategies to help the way my mind is designed. This helped my confidence and she has shown me "it is possible" and "there is always a solution to a problem." I continue to use the strategies she taught me everyday and cannot thank her enough."

"Back when I first started meeting with Nicole, I was a total recluse that barely left my room or did anything for myself. Now I am going back to school, got my driver's permit, and I'm improving my basic functioning thanks to her guidance and support. Her work is extremely helpful."
